Acknowledgement from Mr Director

Assalamu'alaykum wbt.

Alhamdulillah. It is the 14th day of Ramadhan. How's your iman & amal so far? May Allah bless us with His Barakah, Rahmah, & Maghfirah all the time.

Well, the YAHOO At Pangsun summer camp was a blast! But it will never be as 'yahoo' as it sounds without full support from great speaker doctors and also the partipants.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee & PERUBATAN, I would like to appoint my highest gratitude to all Speakers & Content Providers for your outstanding commitment, to all participants for your support & enthusiasm, to all individuals who have financially contributed for your sincere donation, and to Kem Nur Lembah Pangsun Eco Park management for your hospitality. Jazakumullah Khairal Jaza', may Allah bless you all.

Recalling quickly the activities, I can say, the participants were rejoiced & satisfied with talks & forum discussion conducted by senior doctors from IMAM. Most of them are lecturers at Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences(CUCMS). With issues including Future Landscape of Medical Services in Malaysia, Medical Crisis : Family vs Career, Leadership In Medicine, Student Activism : What's Next, & Women In Medicine, the camp was spiced up even more by Jungle Trekking, outdoor activities, and a Disaster Response Medicine(DRM) Demonstration and Simulation conducted by the pioneers of DRM themselves, A/Prof Dr. Ikram and A/Prof Dr. Radhi. We were also very glad to have YB Dr. Nik Mazian, a senior surgeon at the same time serving as an ADUN GAAL Pasir Putih Kelantan, delivering an inspirational speech and officiating the closing ceremony.

It is the participants who decide, wether the objectives of the program have been successfully achieved or not. But for me, I personaly think that the objectives have been fulfilled inshaAllah. We've gained loads of beneficial input from the discussions, bond of ukhuwwah, unforgetable pieces of experience, and most importantly, we did 'yahoo' ourselves!

All praises to Allah for making the program ran smoothly, as we have received 'unbelievably' sufficient financial support from PERUBATAN, Dr. Ikram personally, and few 'no-name' individuals. And we also got a huge support from Doctors from IMAM, from ADUN Pasir Putih, from members of PERUBATAN, from the participants, and not to forget their supportive parents, and also few indivuduals who supported us directly or indirectly. JazakumuLlah Khairal Jaza' again.

Lastly, I hope that the program benefit us to the most in seeking the Blessings of Allah and for the good of the Ummah. We, PERUBATAN, are looking forward to conducting more medically-related community-based programs in the future inshaAllah. Please make du'a for us, and for yourself.

Seeru 'ala barakaatiLlah... keep in touch!

Wassalam
